Alright i keep getting them worthless updates by my real player, oh lord send an atom bomb to them reactionary nerds over at real player, on big brother 4 about some bitches evicting some other sociopath out of the "house"

And i got a question.

This fair and beautiful country, or so it was, at some time hosted people such as erich fromm and herbert marcuse and karen horney and etc. etc. so what the hell happened to you guys, america used to be beautiful, on the forefront of intellingencia and progressiveness, how do you feel now that your country is known for a few crack whores competing for the big brother rat prize and a few marines spreading death around the world.

Bottom line, i used to like the states, when i was like around 10 i used to read jfk's speaches and then imagine a free and equal country, i was wrong...

well said tight, it's a sad occurence, instead of the u.s. being proudly on the forefront of third world aid, and science, and literature etc. they are on the forefront of killings, and mac donalds, and shit, sorry for that, but you could do better americans, your shit used to be great, no it is just that, shit, you had a nina simone, she left off to france, now you got britney spears...jesus...

JackDee:

I knew you were a man of culture. I love Nina! She was a damn good blues singer.

This country is for sale. The big money got into the places of power. The people who make the laws don't wipe their ass without asking a lobbyist, who in turn is backed by big money from special interest groups.

There is no longer a system of checks and balances. The Judicial Branch is god and cannot be questioned. Only the Executive Branch (President) and the Legislative Branch (Congress) ever go against each other.

Hey listen you eurojerks, seems funny that nobdy is leaving this country...as a matter of fact I wish the fxck they would put walls up to keep people out...Don't forget you ungrateful fxckin foreigners, the only reason you can run your mouth like an american is because of America...the only reason you will resemble any type of freedom in the future is because of America...and American blood...When you get up tommorow almost everything you will use in this mordern world was invented or created because of American technology....America is America in spite of europe not because of it.

big, it's still very hopefull that a lot of americans, allow me to say like yourself, do know right from wrong, at least in my opinion, and can discern reality, instead of letting themselves being spoonfed "reality". It's a sign of an open society that despite the occasional fascist and propagandist backlasses it does preserve its decent backbone.

As for big $$ infiltrating the power structure of the u.s., lets hope and and struggle to moderate it and show them big $$ ceo's that some things as they would have it might be for sale, but most aren't even negotiable.

That comes to show that america was, is and should be a land of prosperity and progress, and not backwardness.

btw, nina simone is one of the all time greats jazz/blues singers, i really don't think i d be the same without songs such as lilac wine, sinnerman, i shall be released, keeper of the flame, feeling good etc. etc. She died a year or so ago, and i happened to be in france and there was a huge parade of people in her funeral, it was a big farewell to a great singer, and woman, and artist.

it's funny how your bigotted ass can't even realise when a post is all in favour of the good things american, your shortsighted reply not being one of them.

As for freedom, it's a collective human endeavour, from the prototype greek city states, democratic city states, to the french declaration of human rights, to the american independence, that is a collective struggle for human rights, but it seems in your nationalist frenzy you fail to realize that.

Dr. Nina Simone
February 21, 1933 - April 21, 2003

I fell in love with Nina's music during the movie "Point of No Return" with Bridget Fonda. I bought the CD for the soundtrack.

There are still plenty of good things about America. We still have plenty of innovators, original thinkers. We are still the land of opportunity.

I used to work for a guy who started building computers in a barn in 1986 and by the late 90's was worth billions. I just saw on the news tonight that he's still worth 1.6 billion $US.

i spent a lot of time in the States in the 80's and most of my closest friends were American. like you Jack i was very fond of the country but no longer.

i loathe American foreign policy, the arrogance of the ignorant masses who seem to think the world revolves around the USA, their lack of gun control laws and the religious right.

elsewhere you accuse PO of racism but how is your post anything other than anti-american racism.

btw what happened with the girl you were infatuated with a few weeks ago ??

i am still infatuated, unfortunately or not, and she 's off to a dance and expressive art (or whatever...) seminar for a few days, needless to say i was just about ready to get my cape, hat and dark sunglasses and follow her around incognito over there -i know a lot of "expressive" artists will make a pass on her for sure- but i resisted that temptation... lol.
